Tennessee/Florida On The Road To Regulating MMA
July 1, 2008
by: Michael M Perez
According to the Sun-Sentinel, Florida as of today has fully sanctioned amateur MMA. Both boxing and MMA stated last week that today would be the day. The amendment that was added to he Pugilist law was signed off by Governor Charlie Crist. What this does is open amateur shows that will be headed by ISKA, one of Florida's few sanctioned amatuer organizations based out of Gainsville.
Tennessee also put into place a law sanctioning MMA in Rampage Jackson's home state.
